SUMMARY:Social Event: The Buddha: Art and Culture - a private tour of Buddhist Art
DESCRIPTION:Join IMSB on a private tour of Buddhist art at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco.\nThis is a docent led tour providing insight into the life story of the Buddha. We will see how Buddhist ideas were expressed in art at different times in various ways across Asia. \nThe tour will last one hour. You can then join us for lunch at the museum café or continue to tour the museum. Spouse/Partners are invited. We are limited to 20 guests so please sign-up early. \nCost of the docent-led tour is $10 per person. \nIn addition to the tour price\, you will need to pay your own museum admission. \n Adults $15\, Seniors 65+ $10 \nWe will meet in the museum lobby on the right as you enter to get our audio gear and meet our guide. Please be there by 10:45 or earlier so we can get underway on time. \nWe will try and arrange carpools.
